Audio Video Source has a deep commitment in the green movement, specifically green building and energy conservation.  With our involvement with organizations like the U.S. Green Building Council, and the Emerging Green Builders of South Florida, we are dedicated to improving our impact on the planet.

Home automation and control systems lower a home or business' energy consumption, but there is much more that we can do.  Technology can help us lower our energy consumption (i.e. automation systems), but when not properly designed can also add to our consumption.  AVS designs all it's systems with that in mind.  Every system design we provide our clients will reduce "vampire" power (stand-by load) as much as possible, and incorporate energy star rated products when available.
